About Butler Diaries

We are a family-run business operating out of the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Our products are all designed in Australia right here on the coast. 

Our main feature is the continuation of taking your feedback and tailoring our diaries to suit your specific role, state regs or other requirements. We are constantly evolving our products to suit you.

Butler Diaries Team

You may have spoken with Leona Butler our founder and owner of the store, she has years of experience in design and marketing, and also used to work in Family Day Care and has a deep knowledge of the industry.

You may have also encountered the lovely Christine, our Customer Service Manager, we welcomed her aboard last year and have enjoyed her meticulous attention to detail and friendly assistance to our customers. Christine worked in an ECEC service and ran a tradie business so covers off those two industries as well.

And last but not least is Leona's son Joe, our warehouse manager. He makes sure your parcels are packed and sent off so you get your orders in a timely manner.

We are a small but efficient team who love what we do and want to make sure your experience with us is the best!


Leona has many years of experience in branding, marketing and graphic design for educational institutions, training organisations and conferences. She understands the education sector and has worked with early childhood providers and trainers, schools, TAFEs, universities, training organisations, conference organisers and accreditation organisations. 

Back in 2013, one of her marketing clients was a childcare provider and asked her to design a diary for them – the rest is history. 

Our diaries and other resources take the guess-work out of documentation. They are designed for your industry with feedback and input from your industry, so they nail it for assessments & ratings and general compliance.

Butler Diaries is one of the earliest and most respected suppliers of childcare resources in Australia today. What began as a project to assist childcare providers streamline their paperwork and meet industry standards has become a business dedicated to providing peace of mind to all kinds of sectors drawing from learning frameworks and quality standards under the NQS.

Butler Diaries has diversified into tailored diaries for all sectors including tradies (as Leona also has a love of renovating!) 

The sky is the limit in what we can provide with customised professional diaries, planners and resources for all.

Our 'Warehouse'

Being a small family-run business means we pack and send your orders ourselves in our garage. Joe then transports the parcels to the post office to be sent off to you in our Butler Jimny! We think we might need a bigger one this year as we are growing fast!
