We're excited to share the journey behind our incredible collection of children's artwork from across Australia. It began as a simple call out for children's artwork, and we were blown away by the submissions from every state and territory—each piece telling a unique story through a child's eyes.

The selection process was genuinely one of the most challenging tasks our team has ever faced. We looked at three elements:

The use of colour - How children express themselves through their colour choices and combinations and how these matched our current diaries and the colours you were used to.

The developmental stage of the artist - We wanted representation across different age groups from 1 to 12 years old.

Geographical diversity - Ensuring young artists from every state and territory had their voice heard.
